ready. set. panic grocery shop.

I have found yet another thing I am not good at in this world: panic grocery shopping. Shopping for the apocalypse. How do you do that?! I don’t know what I’m going to want (?) to make for my last real meal before it’s powdered food. I don’t know what to make with this can of red beans that I just paid $3.99 for. (Upside: It’s organic)

So learning I’m not so good at panic grocery shopping in efforts to prepare for … the unknown. Isolated and preparing for the world to change form. Yoga tells us that the world is always changing so this should be par for the course; so let’s get moving with this cart and ride on over to the next hole (that is also a grocery isle) and see what it has to offer me and my unknowing belly.

So nearly $390 dollars later and five trips to various grocery stores, I’m done with this terrible game of … whatever it is. What I do know is that I play yoga. So let’s keep practicing this thing we call humanity and life. Be safe. Love others. Have empathy. Share compassion. Value living. Be vulnerable to what is happening in the world. Every day we are gifted with being here on this planet (and maybe go panic grocery shopping) we have an opportunity to practice. So let’s keep working even though we’re not sure where the fuck the rule book went and stick with the framework we know to be true: love, live, share, and breath.
